Behind Giordana Switzerland is Kübler Sport – a Swiss family business and the exclusive Giordana partner in Switzerland since 1996.

What began in 1996 with Andy Kübler and his wife is now continued by the second generation. As a small family business, we personally look after our customers, the Giordana online shop and custom cycling apparel for clubs, teams, companies and events.

From a family business to the second generation

Kübler Sport was founded by Andy Kübler in 1996, with Giordana at the heart of the business from the very beginning.

Ken Kübler joined the family business in 2003 after ending his active cycling career. During his first years, he worked mainly in field sales, visiting customers on a daily basis, providing personal advice and selling directly on site.

In 2013, Ken took over the company from his parents and has been running Kübler Sport as the second generation ever since. His father is no longer involved in the day-to-day business, but remains a valued adviser to this day.

Today, Ken and Silvia Kübler run the company together.

Ken is mainly responsible for customer advice, sales, the online shop, product questions and custom design. As a passionate road and gravel cyclist, he also knows many Giordana products from his own riding experience.

Silvia looks after selected dealers and is primarily responsible for the back office, including finance, accounting, quotations and administration. She is also closely involved in new products, ideas and important decisions.

Our small structure keeps communication direct. When you contact us, you speak with the same people who select products, listen to customer feedback and discuss solutions directly with Giordana.

Closely connected with Giordana in Italy

Our relationship with Giordana goes far beyond a traditional supplier partnership.

Ken spent four months working directly at the Giordana production facility in Italy, where he gained first-hand experience of the different processes involved in producing high-quality cycling apparel.

Today, we still visit the production facility several times a year. Over the years, our relationship with Giorgio Andretta and the team in Italy has become very close and personal. This allows us to discuss questions, customer feedback and specific requirements of the Swiss market directly with the people responsible for production.

For us, this is an important part of the partnership. We do not simply sell products from a catalogue – we stay in close contact with the people who develop and manufacture them.

Advice based on experience and everyday practice

Our recommendations are never based on a single source. They combine official information from Giordana with our own product experience, direct contact with the production team and more than two decades of personal customer service.

We also learn from feedback provided by customers, athletes, clubs, teams and event participants. Whenever useful improvements can be made, we discuss them directly with Giordana.

One example: for an event collection we supplied, we received feedback that the bib shorts were slightly too long for many participants. We passed this feedback on and were able to adjust the product together with the production team for the following edition.

We do not conduct our own scientific laboratory tests and do not want to give the impression that we do.
